Rotting My Brain
Y'all, I've been reading terrible fics for, like, a week now. Only on purpose this time. I don't know! They're mostly terrible in an awesome way, except for that bit where I accidentally started reading that too terrible siren!Harry thing.
Currently, I'm trying to decide if I'm more in the mood for the Harry-whumping fic where he's a superpowered!superabused!empath who has to marry Voldemort for peace, or the Snape-adopts-Harry fic where Lily abandons him in an alley as an infant and then he gets raised by Snape and Voldemort fixates on him, but Draco is his true love and also a moon veela. Or there's always the one with superpowered!superabused!empath!hermaphrodite!Harry, which has dehumanisation and secret mpreg.
Yesterday I read immortal!vampire!Harry goes back in time to prevent the slow death of magic and ends up with Snape and Lucius, vampiric!veela!Harry mates with fae!Draco and Lucius (with no incest, so bonus), and creature!Harry is sold to the Malfoys and then given to Voldemort as part of a two-brides-for-the-price-of-one deal with Draco.
See? Terrible, but also wonderful, because the authors fucking went for it. I love it when it feels like someone just went "fuck it! I'm gonna write what I want and I don't give a crap if people say it's cliche or OOC, 'cause it's my baby and it's going to be balls-out awesome, bitches".
Also, HP fic is hilarious and I will never think otherwise; I need more readable Harry/Voldemort (or Tom Riddle, whatevs) stat; and maybe I'd like Harry/Ginny more if there was more fic where she's awesome like in Abandon and Curse of Fate (cold!hard!vampire-bitch!Ginny for the win!).
