Feeling the Urge For a Magnum Opus

I've been in fandom for 16 years, at this point - literally more than half my life - and I kind of want to do a big Thing. And I'm a reccer, so.

At first, it was gonna be a whole brackets situation, fic versus fic, last fic standing per fandom thing, but most of my fandoms don't break down that way? It has therefore gotten...bigger.

So if anyone wants to give me a list of like, their ten (or more!) favorite fandoms? Because I am actually having trouble just remembering every fandom I would want to include and that is inevitably step fucking one, so.

MY FAVORITE POPSLASH FIC IS GONE AND I AM STILL SAD. CHASEZ LAKE WAS SO GOOD THOUGH, THERE WAS EMOTIONALLY SIGNIFICANT *PURCHASE OF FURNITURE* AND I DIED.

SGA, hockey, MCU, & HP are DEFINITELY going to be in it, and Mag7 will be just so I can shove The Tale of a Deed in new people's faces.

I will be including most of those! Man from UNCLE, nah, and Hawaii Five-0/Vorkosigan are maybes, but SGA and BtVS in particular are Major Fandoms for me.

Wait, nvm, H50 has to go on there for some of the Kono/Jenna fic if nothing else.

See! There is too much amazing stuff! It's like grocery shopping when hungry, you get all fixated on a thing and forget about the fifteen other things that were on that list you never take with you.

Wow! And as a long time lurker (first fic I ever read was in 1997) I appreciate REC lists like yours!

In no particular order:

-Xfiles
-Highlander
-SGA
-Hockey RPF (which I fell face forward into because of the delightful Check!Please and has me actually watching and following a Professional sport and multiple teams men and womens now! I even learned to ice skate *is a desert dweller*)

(Such a gateway drug, the well written crossover took me places Id never know to explore from Torchwwod and Doctor Who to Mack Bolan the Executioner and Man from UNCLE, big fandoms like Harry Potter and small fandoms Im better for having been apart of Leverage/Psych/Losers...so many mixed up magical offerings)
