Time's a-Wasting
I'm not gonna bitch about the deadline, 'cause I signed up knowing full well it was gonna be tight with my comm deadline, but y'all, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
rec50's current round ends on the 30th. I have six days and change to come up with those 50 recs and what am I reading? Original fic. And some Torchwood, because I kept meaning to finish Attrition and then not following through, 'til now, at least.
Anyway. I'm trying to remember all the awesome HP fic I've read since last time (two years, how did that happen) and I keep coming up with stuff - A Black Comedy! One of the funniest things I've ever read and it has alternate dimensions, an alive Sirius, and the honest-to-god best animagus form for anyone EVER, in ANYTHING. The Curse of Fate! Awesome and badass Ginny, awesome Dark/Light mythology, and hilarious thwarting of manipulative Dumbledore. - and then going aw crap, WiP. I've already committed to using Nightmares of Futures Past as my WiP this round, because it has seniority - admittedly not generally a plus in WiPs, but I do know the guy is a) alive and b) writing, which is more than I can say for some (In Memory I, anyone? Becka just went on vacation and apparently never came back).
I wanna do more het. I'm doing one Harry/Ginny, at least one Remus/Lily, and a couple yet-to-be-determined Harry/Hermione, but I don't want this set dominated by H/D like the last one. It may be my Big Ship, but it's not my One True.
Also, where the hell's my good threesome fic? I know it's out there, but I'm blanking. I've got a Harry/Draco/Ginny that I have to do, because it slaps you in the face and makes you like it, and if I haven't done The Green Lion, I should, because sex magic!
Actually, I'm kind of tempted to fill this thing with as many cliche-gone-good stories as I can, since I love the cliches and it'd be awesome if I could do all 50 like that. Sex magic, mind-reading, age/time games, physical transformation, magical creatures, memory modification, students become teachers, abuse, prisoner fic, prison fic, Bring Back Black, secret relatives...god, so many possibilities.
