Awesome?

So, I'm going to be getting a lot more hours at work. I'm part-time, which should mean 30 hours a week, but I'm also one of the only cashiers who works days, so October - April or so, I can usually expect about 35-38 actual (as opposed to scheduled).

Next week? I am scheduled 40. Minus lunches, plus the time waiting for my relief/balancing at the end of day. I may actually end up with overtime.

Three weeks ago, we had four cashiers who could work days all week and one who could work some days. Two quit without notice, one joined the miltary and played fast and loose with her attendance and got fired for it today (and she was the person I disliked most in the whole store, so \o/), and one got a better paying job and will be leaving whenever they decide what her start date is.

That leaves me and my supervisor. My hours are going to be weird for weeks.

I am mostly hoping we get people who will stay, because I don't want to hit Black Friday with n00bs.
