A Resounding Ick
Do you ever get the feeling the universe just wants to thwart you?
Like, last week, I asked for three days off so I could have two days of lying around and then a day of cleaning and laundry. It was going to be a good week!
No. Turns out that was the Week Everyone Got Fired; not me, I should make clear, but they fired one person with cause and laid off four. We've never lost more than two in one week. And now I have a flu-cold-thing. This week SUCKED.
