Sharing Is Caring! No, Really!

I just went to so much trouble so you guys could see what I'm really listening to. Seriously, I had to google and everything. And then all the info wouldn't fit in the box, so, in case, you were wondering, the first names of Shatner's collaborators are Johnny and Reinhold.

If I'm listening to it, why don't I know what it is, you may ask. That's because it's the song for an SGA fanvid, which is simultaneously wonderful and horrifying and wonderful, and wonderful does indeed need to be said twice, because it really, really is.

And now we come to the point of the entry. I have this habit, lately, where I jot random thoughts into notepad for later elaboration. And now I shall share them all with you, because I can. Also, some of them make me go "Aha! I am as brilliant as my mother thinks!" except, no. That is the megalomania talking.

The random stuff is here, the random fan stuff is next, and the frustrated litsnob stuff is after that.

craving:

fuck, I want Johnny Carino's.

that pasta, with the chicken and the onions and the bacon and that sauce, all rich and creamy and unbelievably decadent.

life sucks. I should be able to eat what I want, when I want. everyone should. there should be a rule.

that'd be one of the best things about being rich. if you wanted Johnny Carino's, you could damn well send a minion out to get you Johnny Carino's.

but I am poor and have no minions, so I have no idea what I'm going to eat.

in the WORLD:

there is not enough therapy in the WORLD to heal the soul of that tiny child

Walker Lever

the zombie option:

I've decided one of the reasons I'm not going to be cremated is to keep open the zombie option. You don't know! It could be real! Someday, zombies could roam (shamble) the earth!

And on that day, because I will have been not-cremated, I will totally Eat Someone's Head. Because that's what zombies do.

Have you noticed that? Zombies are supposed to be all "Braaaains", but really, they bite a chunk out of somebody's head and then they move on the next cowering flesh-bag. I think they don't really want brains at all. They are mistaken in their cravings. You know, like when you're all "omg, I could kill for some chocolate" and then one of your friends gives you chocolate, because you have the best friends ever, but then you eat it and have to be all "huh. my craving is unfulfilled. apparently, what I really want is a kinderegg, and at least half of that craving is for the toy.". Except zombies aren't smart enough to figure this out, so they keep going after the chocolate (brains).

I blame the decomposition.

What?

It's got to be worse than brain damage.

bizarre connections:

okay, the amazon.com recommendations list is kind of bizarre.

they're recommending me CDs based on books I own...and they're getting a bunch right. Like, they rec'd Garbage's Bleed Like Me because of one of the Meredith Gentry books.

and they just now rec'd me a collectable Ken doll. which was, y'know, not right. but it's bizarre.

this is actually fun.

so. very. bizarre:

added to the list of bizarre recommendations:

pedometer
reading glasses
New York Times Upfront
lipstick from Fusion
Pyrex 3-piece measuring cup set
nose & ear hair groomer
Braun CCR2 Syncro Shaver System Clean & Charge Refills (2 Refills)
mr. potato head darth tater
Leatherman
Leatherman accessories
various computer accessories

last time I did this, the list was just...books. although, to be fair, the books have become more bizarre as well. now on the list?

the bible (how does ender's game = bible?)

also, something I really, really want:

Music for Elevators - Anthony Stewart Head

British actors make me sad for Americans. Okay, so I'm really just talking about Anthony Stewart Head and Hugh Laurie. Because they are frighteningly competent. Head's a musician! Actual musician, not an actor-who-has-decided-to-sing. Laurie is a writer! He has a book! It's a good book; y'all should read it.

Damn. I...I want Queen of the Slayers. It's the latest Buffy novelization, and I read the end in a bookstore and barely made it out without it. And now it's on the list and there's a voice in my head telling me "ahahaha! See! See! The universe wants us to have it! Give in...you know you want to...mmmm, post-Chosen canon...you know you want to know more about the magic-baby...". Yeah, sorry, there's totally a magic baby. And I must know more.

Just...kill me.
