Well right now I use my delicious network to find fic in other fandoms besides bandom. For bandom, sometimes people rec me stuff in chat, but when I do read, I just go searching for my own stuff.
Well, most of what I've been reading is just what shows up written by my flist/recced by my flist/in my inbox due to author alerts or similar. Or stuff I randomly stumble across wandering the internet; I follow one link and an hour later, I somehow have twenty new tabs, IDEK.
The "directed" is really only a couple of fandoms/themes I'll feel interested enough in to search for (True Blood, Xander crossovers, stuff for my themed lists). Stuff off my beaten path, really.
