I Don't Quite Know How It Happened?

I've been hardcore into That '70s Show fandom the last week or so? Like, the Jackie/Hyde = OTP4EVER, "yay, surprise pregnancy!" kind of hardcore, which I haven't been for any het ship since 2004 with Inuyasha/Kagome. Like, at first I thought the shipper rage was hilarious and a little irritating, but now I think it's hilarious and TOTALLY JUSTIFIED, CANON, YOU BASTARD, WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT WAS THAT.

I am so confused and yet also infatuated.

omg. Somewhere between 3-6 years ago Jackie/Hyde was my JAM. I couldn't even watch the last season, ugh. SO ANGRY.

WHAT WAS THAT, FOR REAL. YOU DO NOT STAY WITH THE BIGAMIST STRIPPER YOU MARRIED WHILE YOU WERE DRUNK, HYDE; YOU CRAWL THE FUCK BACK TO THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE.

It's so much like IY fandom for me - he's a dick, but she loves him, so I want her to have him, because she is my FAVORITE. UGH. I am really enjoying the post-season 8 fics where Hyde gets punched in the face, verbally or literally. Pre-s8, I love him, but then IT ALL GOES WRONG.

In my brain-canon, the last minute-and-a-half of the s7 finale NEVER HAPPENED. BASTARDS.

Also...do you have recs? I love them so much, but the fic can get so bad. Which doesn't actually stop me reading it.

I wish I did, ugh. I've ventured into the fandom on and off for years, but I never stick around long enough to find good fic. I'm bad about getting distracted by the shiny. If I come across anything, I'll link you.

I remember watching the season finale when it aired and just being like, "...nope. None of that happened. Jackie and Hyde are having hot, hot sex and LA LA LA nope that's what happened."
