I cannot even express how much I hate WHATEVER this is with the AO3 subscription emails. I AM FOLLOWING TOO MANY PEOPLE FOR THESE BUNDLES TO BE USEFUL. I am subscribed 183 users and three stories, to be exact. Do you know how many fandoms that is? 'Cause I don't! LOTS. I like having each update in a separate email, so I know what to go back to when I cycle into SGA or X-Men or whatever again. I can't just save a hundred emails titled "Subscription Update". I'll never find anything again.

Have you sent in a support request? They do listen and if enough feedback comes in I bet you could get an unbundle option.

I will join you in hating the subscription bundles. Also the kudos bundles.

Why not make it opt-in to the digests, or even opt-out of receiving email notifications altogether if the aim was reduce the number of e-mails being sent?

I imagine this is a stab at fixing the 502 problem until they can fix it for real, but I see what you mean, bundles might not be awesome.

I am so glad I'm not the only person that hates them. Especially as there are a couple of people who I'm only following for one of their series (why can't we just subscribe to a series?) and so I don't want the rest, but it all comes bundled. I'd like to be able to delete the ones I don't care about and still have the rest available to me.

Time to make a complaint me thinks. The feedback form is there for a reason afterall.

You didn't used to be able to. I kept trying to and it wouldn't let me because there wasn't a button. I am super happy to know that I can just subscribe to a series now. Yay!

Unfortunately, individual emails are apparently totally overloading their servers and the only way they can keep things going right now is to bundle the 'oh hey, your subscription(s) updated' notes.

*sighs a lot, prays for a really good coder to get their teeth into the problem and fix their load balance issues*
