New Kindle is named Metis, because when I find a naming schema I like, I will run it into the goddamn ground.

24 items into a Derek/Stiles list, because I am just so full of feelings and using other people's rec lists keeps biting me in the ass. There are about ten stories that I hate? But if I see a link I follow it, because I cannot remember I've read them, let alone that I hate them. It is a fandom with a lot of tropes, ok, and sometimes a new story feels familiar because tropes and sometimes a story feels familiar because it is the one you wanted to throw across the room.

But yes, new list, finally. I feel bad that I haven't posted one since fucking March? But getting a Kindle radically changed the way I interact with fandom at large and I was trying to keep reccing without adjusting that at all and it got horrible and frustrating and I just needed to not.

R-really? I thought it was just a rumour? (But what I really want is for them to become friends. I would keel over with joy.) That would be so exciting, though. I'm so curious as to how Davis would let that play out.

Oh maaaan, I remember during s1 it was so hard to find long fic, any fic at all really, and now it's like I have to beat them away with a stick. I have more bookmarked as private than ever.

Kindle #4? Agh. Is it a hardware problem or just (like me) bad luck with electronics?

But once I've read it on device, it's very hard to work back to the actual fic page to get a link/leave kudos.

I have that problem too! I don't have internet at my apt (my neighbor moved and took his unprotected wifi with him :c), so sometimes it feels like bookmarking everything is only a way to keep track of it so I don't forget it. But of course by the time I get to mooch internet off of my friends it's like I have to reread ALL THE THINGS to remember which was which and why I liked it.

I actually downloaded some e-readers for my computer to see if I'll have better luck keeping track of stuff. It's at times like this I wish I could code so I could write an app to fix this problem.

Omg my kindle is shit with organizing and indexing. I literally have to go through the files and rename them one by one after they've already been downloaded. So annoying.
