AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGH.

Finally installed some updates to my computer. And now things are horribly wrong.

I can't save webpages. I keep getting the error message "The Web page could not be saved to the selected location". And then I try another location, and it's the same message.

I need to be able to save webpages.

Help? Anyone?

ETA: Problem solved. Am now merely filled with hate for bad patches.

Saw this via foflist. Are you talking about the new Windows security patches? It's been causing multiple problems, including conflicting with HP software and some graphics drivers--one of the symptoms is probs with IE. I don't have the answer for you, but these links may help:
