Tony Needs an Adult!
Wow. Just, wow. I never expected to read about Steve Rogers: Creepy Bad-Touch Creeper, but there you go.
There are things that aren't creepy in an established relationship, but become TOTALLY CREEPY when you're doing them with an unconscious friend. "“No,” Steve assured him. “I was teasing. You’re fine. You’ve had several baths. We’re taking good care of you.”
Tony hadn’t been awake for any of those and Steve had given them all, but he didn’t need to know that.
“Oh my God, who?”
Then again, maybe he did.
“Just me.” Steve re-assured. “I wouldn’t let anyone else see you like that.” Helpless and wretched, too vulnerable by far. Steve was glad Tony didn’t know how many minutes he’d lingered over the act, turning the bath into something much more...personal."

RIGHT? And they're sleeping in the same bed and Tony actually says "no" and "don't" and "stop touching me" but Steve knows he that's not what he really wants and there's a paragraph about how Steve won't force him, that's not his way - okay, here it is: "There was no question of forcing the issue. It wasn’t Steve’s way. And he knew Tony was susceptible to persuasion, coaxing, but force would only make him fight harder." - like that's supposed make everything A-OK (because there's NOT AT ALL a skeevy power imbalance between caretaker/invalid, especially an invalid who is literally too weak to get away from you) and basically? This is an awesome story if you want to watch a spiral of creepiness that will make you want someone to give Tony a "you're not alone/we can move you someplace safe" speech.
