Harry Potter Fandom = The Mafia
You think you're out and then no, no, you're really emphatically not. You are, in fact, so not out that you spend 10 hours quality time with a newfound rec set.
And jesus christ, these stories. Fucking...I want warnings in my recs! Not for content, blah blah incest/kink/OOCness, whatever. I'd just like to know when a story's going to punch me in the fucking face, thanks. Ow.
You know how when you hurt yourself unexpectedly, you get those instant tears of pain and shock? You're not really crying, it's more like your body's WTF, no? Yeah. Three times last night, I stumbled into fucking stories like that.

(Also, now want to do a list called "50 Fists to the Face...Stories that hit me like a punch". Someone, stop the madness. Because...Winners, and Where Is Thy Victory, and Hospitality, and Adaptation (fucking Adaptation, jesus hell), and Fidelius (although really, that felt more like a fist to the chest), and Nightsblooming Heartsease...Madness, I tell you.)

And can I just say how very incredibly much the passwording of the PSA annoys me? The Restricted Section's annoying, too, but not that bad. But getting the PSA password is more trouble than I'm inclined to go to just to read stories I've never seen before.
Huh. If I did...Oh, who am I kidding, when I do that list, it's going to be terrifyingly subjective. That could be interesting. Or horrifyingly embarrassing. Or, hey! If I'm lucky, it could be both.
