You know, I like "Not Ready to Make Nice", but I think this'll always be my favorite Dixie Chicks song. And the video just never stops being awesome.

'Nother thing that never quits with the awesomeness? Crimes Against Humanity. John cutting Lorne's hand off should not be making me go "awwww". But omg, it does. It's...wow. Jesus. Fucked up, and ridiculous hot, and I don't care if you're not an SGA fan, if you like dark AUs, this story's for you.

And for people I continue to love, even though they mock the fanfiction mercilessly, we have scifunk and junkiewinocreep.

In other news, I don't even have words to express how very over this list thing I am. I worked all day yesterday (btw, does anybody have a good link to Kit Mason's website?) and then a good chunk of today and aargh, no more. Yet I'm still so very unfinished that I wish to weep. Am, however, up 138 stories in 34 fandoms, which sounds a lot more impressive than it actually is. 62 prompts to go and I want to bring it up to at least 40 fandoms, because I feel I should do more to earn that multifandom tag.

Also, hey, for anyone that's ever read the Harry/Draco story A Bedroom, During Summer Months, I don't think it qualifies for a bestiality warning; agree or diagree? Because, well, I did originally bookmark as "the one with the SNAKES, jesus".

Also hey, know what I could really go for? A nice Fast & the Furious AU where Brian went to jail for letting Dom go. He could get out and be horribly traumatised and begin to heal through Dom's love, or Dom could break him out, or...whatever, really. I want angst and grand gestures, basically. I read a story like that once, but if there're more, I haven't seen them.

Or some decent Fastlane fic with Van and Deaq and BDSM. Something like Vision in Green as opposed to, say, The Lure (jesus fuck, so bad). Because mmmm, submissive!Van.

ETA: Adding this because I'm annoyed, but not enough to make a whole post: shut up, weathermen! OMG, no one CARES. Fucking Oklahoma. If you live here, you know it is tornado season. It's the same every damn spring. But it's always such a Big Fucking Deal.

Currently, the local CBS affiliate is showing footage of developing tornadoes instead of How I Met Your Mother. This is why we have crawl bars, and those little maps in the corners! If programming got bumped for every funnel, I'd never get to see anything, all through May.

People, chill. God, it's a couple of funnels and you're acting like it's another May 3rd.
