Life, I Hate It

Why is there no May/Walsh fic? Seriously, there hasn't been any posted on [livejournal.com profile] olympic_slash since '04. That is ridiculous! Kerri is adorable and supergay for Misty.

Also, I am eight short on my RPF list, with a possible eleven open if I find a bunch of somethings awesome. I want to just post and be done! Although I'm glad I didn't finish before today, because there's an awesome Phelps/Thorpe fic that makes me giggle madly.

I found another Phelps/Thorpe fic and I am wary, yet intrigued. Phelps is a water mage. It could be awesome.

And then I found something that I love utterly, but I don't think I can rec it because it has no pairing or real title, but it's so very, very awesome. [livejournal.com profile] thorne_scratch is writing a Scaly Dick WiP wherein Michael Phelps is growing scales. On his dick. So he calls Ian Crocker. Who brings Aaron Piersol and Ryan Lochte to help him in his Time of Need. It pretty much wins at life.

There is a pairing (a couple of 'em, actually!), it's just that, uh, they don't kick in for about fifteen more pages. I figure I need to give Michael adequate time to freak out over his dick before getting down to the porn parts.

It does have a title as well, but I find it more fun to call it The Scaly Dick Story for now. When I get the whole thing written and posted properly, hopefully it'll feel more natural to call it by its title instead. Anyway, dude, I'm glad you like it! I figured this was actually going to get me run out of fandom on a rail.

Yeah, I gotta thank the popslash writers for breaking all the hard ground before I ever got there. It is deeply appreciated.

Oh man, I feel your pain, which is why I try not to post WsIP until they're done. It's just, this will keep me from relegating it to a forgotten folder on the hard drive out of shame. As long as I know it's on my journal somewhere, I'll stay intent on finishing it. I'm looking forward to seeing what you rec!

while I decide which will be more fun for me, comparing him to Aquaman, one of the world's lamest superheroes, or to a Disney princess.

Disney princess all the way. I mean, Annie Leibovitz clinched it (http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/22799571.html#cutid1).
