EATING MY LIFE, Seriously, Help

Bandom has totally jumped to my fifth biggest fandom at this point. I am infatuated, for real. I want to join comms and ask for recs and shit. And hey! Possibly some of you could point my lazy ass at what I want.

I want EPIC hurt/comfort with a happy ending. And epic like long but also epic like noncon, abuse, a disability like blindness or aphasia/muteness, widower left to raise a tiny child, etc. Patrick, Brendon, or Gerard centered, because they are my favorites.

I will read them with most people, but Pete/Patrick, Bob/Patrick, Frank/Gerard, Bob/Gerard, Gerard/Mikey, Ryan/Brendon, and Brendon/Spencer are especial favorites. Oh! Also any combination of Frank/Gerard/wives and Panic ot3/gsf.

It's kind of weird, most of the bandom stories only have the relationship angst (he doesn't/won't ever love me back! he's too good for me! I can't make a move or it will fuck up the band!) even though some of these guys have hardcore shit in their pasts. It makes me wonder if it's just because people are more uncomfortable writing about true Bad Things or if it's just the "section" of bandom I read.

Or if I'm just skewed by coming from fandoms that are very much about the whumping. The Sacrifices Arc remains my perfect piece of fiction and it's pretty hardcore. Move out of HP fandom and it looks really fucking harcore.

Mmmm, Sacrifices Arc. God, I love that fic. I mean, Saving Connor, not that great, but then you hit No Mouth But Some Serpent's and that story owns me. Everything that bothered me about canon got fixed. And huge angst - character death, torture, mind control, abuse, the hero spends several books maimed - but also epic comfort, from lovers and friends and family and even respected enemies.

I want every fandom to have something like that, basically, something that epic and intricate and dense.

Gerard = Harry and Mikey = Connor, so I'm going Pete = Parvati, but after that it falters. Except for Brendon Urie = Ignifer Apollonis and Jon Walker = Honoria Pemberley. Or possibly Brendon = Tybalt and Spencer = John, but I like the situational parallels better with Brendon-Ignifer.

Also, Gabe Saporta = world's biggest Parseltongue kink, y/n?

Frank Iero = Dionysus Hornblower (the scene where the Unspeakables attack the press is seriously one of my favorites; I love Dionysus). I think Brian has to be Snape, and I KIND OF WANT BERT TO BE DRACO. Honestly, this is kind of hard because I'll think of something and then be like, but I don't WANT Maja to be an organized psycopath rapist! There are TOO MANY awesome villains in the SA. Ryan Ross would be an awesome Zacharias, though.

Thinking about this so much just makes me want a bandom/HP crossover more and more. Especially one where Gabe borderline stalks Harry for more of the sexy snake talking. Mikey Way bonds with Hagrid over unicorn-love. Brendon Urie worships the Weasely twins. Bob insists immediately on a permanent flame-repelling charm. Shenanigans, basically.
