list50. Prompts instead of a theme, unless awesomeness is a theme, which I think we all know it is.
Got kind of overtaken by my RPF kick, but hell, not the first time I've displayed fanatic fannish devotion. How many lists did SGA swallow back in the day?
Honestly, I'm pretty fucking pleased with myself. 150 stories and it took less than a week to pull together. Admittedly, that speaks more of my backlog than my mad skillz, but still.
And! I have pretty much found the best story EVER in the history of LIFE for the prompt "A Most Intimate Knife" (for those just tuning in, I made a whole 50-prompt table of lines from poems and songs and I remain pretty infatuated with it; "Our Hatred and Affection" is pretty much my favorite - I totally whipped it out for Bert/Gerard).
Wolverine/Edward Scissorhands.
It is GENIUS. And actually fits a pretty literal reading of the original poem, which is kind of great if you're me. So far, I seem to have used for killing people you love, but now? Stabbing your sex partner with your knife-hands. I love it.
Also great? Eroica + zombie apocalypse, Jamia/Lyn-Z, the sequel to Defect (the awesome SPN/Criminal Minds xover), Harry Dresden meets Buffy, Devil Wears Prada + space pirates, smoking hot Sylar/Mohinder sex-with-powers, the twins accidentally give voices to all the penises in Hogwarts, and Frank and Gerard watch porn for Science.
