NOT ANYMORE.

So I finally got someone to man up and tell me their starting wage and yeah, it was 50 cents more than I was making. As I was leaving for the day, I mentioned that I was unhappy with this to the assistant manager and she was immediately apologetic and swearing that she didn't know, she wouldn't do that to me, she thinks I'm a treasure, she'll get right on that.

I go home feeling better but not expecting much to happen for a while (it took something like a month for the paperwork to go through last time I got a raise).

Then I come in the next and she's already gotten the pay increase approved and the paperwork signed, plus she gets me an apology from the manager. I LOVE her. If she ever leaves again, I am going WITH her.

But There's Always Lots of Fun Times Before the Dramatic Flameout!

Oh man, this project. I need a name for it, for one thing, so as to bitch more concisely. For another, I kind of want someone to tell me no on some things. Things like the het/gen "Haters to the Left" list (I'm looking at you, Melody, that is not something to cheer on). And minilists. How many would be too many? Because the poll results were overwhelmingly in favor of full-length lists, but to that I say THEN YOU GUYS DO SOME. And 34 x 50 is 1700 and ahahaha, that is very much not happening. Maybe for Year 4.

To facilitate my latest madness, I've been looking through old files for partially completed lists and hey, apparently I was ten stories into a crossdressing list at one point? I kinda want to finish it just so I can use one of the titles, seriously. Though I can't decide which one. "Skirting (The Edge of Decency)" or "Easy Access"?

Also, secret goal number three for this mess is to actually finish a hookers list. This makes three special projects where I've tried to do that and dammit, this time I will! Even if I have to trawl ff.net through terrible rentboy!Harry fics written by twelve year-olds.

Currently, I've got both the kidfic and the death lists up to 28, the het list is at 26, and the Brendon-centric list is at 16 - and in desperate need of a title, seriously, I am blanking.
