I Very Much Want To Punch LJ in the Face Right Now

So, I never really filtered my flist before now; every time I checked it, I was reading all 231 personal journals + 15 - 20 (generally low-traffic) comms. I don't want to spend that much time on LJ anymore, so I have been trying to set up some filters so I can read in manageable chunks. Y'know, dropping some inactive/duplicated on DW journals and prioritising journals I don't currently share a fandom/personal relationship with.

The Edit Friends Group Tool HATES ME AND WANTS ME TO CRY MANY BITTER TEARS. Every time I drop some journals and try to save the changes, it shuts down the connection! It only lets me move ONE JOURNAL AT A TIME. I am trying to go from 250 to maybe 75 on my first-tier filter! Too many clickings. But I don't want to delete the whole group and start over, because all my bookmarks/speed dials/etc. point to that one filter.

Am I just DOING IT WRONG?
