I still have a bunch of Halloween-ish songs uploaded at Box.

I actually need to add some more on there, but tonight I am busy setting up my replacement Kindle.

Also, WHY did no one rec me Enemy Mine? Harry/Marcone and SO LONG and PLOTTY - I totally do not care if it's not as great as other things the road to hell is paved with or Choices. Or Near Miss or that one with the fill collection. I am totally putting it just below The Most Dangerous Thing and just above The Affairs of Wizards and Besieging Omelas. (I will always be sad that those + [archiveofourown.org profile] thehoyden's fic + [archiveofourown.org profile] lightgetsin's stories basically comprise my Dresden fandom experience. IT SO GREAT; WHY DO MORE PEOPLE NOT JUMP ON THIS. THERE SHOULD BE A HUNDRED FICS ON MY MENTAL LIST, NOT, WHAT, TWENTY-FIVE?

And that is recommend Baen wildly and unreservedly. Really, you might say, a whole publishing house? How is that helpful at all?

And it might not be! But they are the coolest publishing house in the whole business, you guys. They want you to read their books! Let me repeat that: they want you to read their books, not necessarily buy them. They'd like it if you did! They know you probably will, because book-lovers like to have the actual physical books to clutch in their hot little hands! But in the meantime, they will totally give them to you for free on the Internet. In a variety of formats, including html and Kindle-compatable.

And if, say, you get hooked by the free books and buy a first-edition David Weber hardcover, theyll give a CD! A CD filled with every one of Weber's novels ever, UNencrypted, plus some books from his friends. A CD that explicitly states that you're allowed to share the whole thing, for free, with anyone who wants it.

They are AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL and I WANT TO GIVE THEM A MILLION DOLLARS FOR BEING GOOD BOOK-PEOPLE.

2. Dirty Nancy, the talking unicorn.
3. Psych/Fall Out Boy RPF. If only it were longer. (Note: Link to be fixed as soon as I refind the damn thing, fuck. Stupid file saved incorrectly.)
4. Bill Beckett happening to people.
5. Chuck Bass/Draco Malfoy. It is GENIUS.
6. Ryan Ross is a pirate captain and Brendon talks to animals.
7. Gerard is a terrible pirate, but Frank is a worse ninja.
8. Patrick Stump and Brendon Urie geeking over music.
9. Bandom West Wing, now with more gay! And also hot foursomes/fivesomes.
10. MCR in general. I'm kind of starry-eyed, you guys. I just never really went there, you know? I read, but I didn't love and now I am wallowing. Lamenting the relative scarcity of crossdressing!Gerard, but mostly I am just in crazy, flaily, full-on capslock LOVE.
