So Reid/JJ is awesome? I don't know! Apparently I will read him with anyone but Gideon or Rossi!

More Reid-fic, people, he's a pretty, fucked-up genius that the show loves to put in distress.

You know what's awesome? St. Valentine's Day is really just a big thing because the Roman Catholic Church is prudish. See, there was a pagan holiday in Italy around this time that was also a celebration of love. Except this holiday was much more about the debauchery. There was a whole thing where teenagers especially would form temporary "marriages" that were more about getting some socially-sanctioned ass than they were about love. So the Church made a big thing of St. Valentine's Day, and made it a holiday focused on courtly (non-physical) love.

Anyway. I have many new uploads.

Jesus. It's creepy to think of a park as a "target rich environment" for pedophiles.

I could read some Morgan/Garcia friend-sex. I couldn't really see them in a relationship, but I could buy some friend-sex, maybe some comfort-sex. Comfort-sex if Garcia's the one being comforted. Morgan, to me, doesn't really read as someone who'd comfort himself with sex with a friend. Anonymous sex, relationship-sex, post-danger sex with someone who'd been in danger, maybe. But he seems like he'd use violence as an outlet before he'd use sex. Not, y'know, directed violence, like going out and starting a bar brawl, just hitting the bag around or maybe sparring. Controlled violence.

Or I'm always up for some Abby/Garcia. Come on, people, geek-crossover OTP.

Hmm. Gideon putting his arm around Reid. I'm not really...comfortable slashing Mandy Patinkin (as anyone other than Inigo, anyway). But this show...makes it really damn easy, doesn't it?

Wow. Gideon just flipped. That's...weird. He's usually all restrained.

Aaaand it all works. Because these are TV cops, and TV cops are like Mounties: they always get their man. Even if they have to violate somebody's civil rights to do so.

I wonder if they're planning on doing some kind of Criminal Minds/CSI crossover at some point. They're both CBS shows and this is the second time they've mentioned that Reid is from Las Vegas. That'd actually be cool.

I have a sudden and bizarre longing for Grissom/Reid. Or Greg/Reid. Because the similarities between Grissom and Reid are kind of funny and it'd be the most socially awkward courtship ever. Or Greg and Reid could bond over being young genii and then Greg could coax Reid out of his shell with sex and pop culture.

But either of those relationships would have to be short-term. And when the BAU leaves Vegas, Elle teases Reid about the whole "what happens in Vegas..." thing and Morgan, who'd had no clue, gets kind of blustery and protective when he's really just jealous. And then Morgan and Reid do the dance of humorous misunderstanding so common in slash fics, where Reid assumes either a) Morgan doesn't think he can take care of himself, hence the bluster and the (canon!) protective shtick, or b) Morgan isn't comfortable with Reid liking guys, and Morgan wrestles with his Feelings because it's Reid, and he can't help but 1) feel like it'd be kind of taking advantage because Reid is so damn clueless with social situations, and 2) feel kind of embarrassed because really? Reid? That's who he chose to fixate on? The gawky, maladjusted boy-genius, instead of, say, Elle, who's all sassy and gorgeous, or even Hotch, who's at least conventionally attractive?

And then there is sex and they laugh and love and fight crime together forever and aye.

I found a fic that I can't read. It - it honestly squicks me.

Dude, I will read hardcore. But I will not read this series. 's called Bitch, by Nancy. Hardcore BDSM, CSI: NY, Mac/Danny.

I finished the first story, but I had to force myself through it. I knew it wasn't for me during the sex scene.

I have...weird lines when it comes to noncon. It seems like most people would. If it's going to be a viable romantic relationship for me, one party can't rape another. So where's the line between noncon and rape? It's all in the mind; if the "victim" sees it as rape, it's rape. And that's my line. Yes, there can be extenuating circumstances, like if the "rapist" is being drugged, brainwashed, possessed, or coerced (it's fanfiction; these are not random examples). But if the "rapist" chose this and the "victim" thinks rape...that's the line.

This had coercion-sex. I can do coercion-sex. But then Danny thought "rape". More, he was thinking he was betrayed, raped by a man he trusted.

That's why I'm giving up on it. I mean, yeah, okay, the kennel's maybe a little much, but I'd've stuck with it. But it crossed my line.
